What is Employment Supports?
This support provides workplace assistance that enables a participant to successfully obtain or retain employment in the open or supported labour market. This support can be supplied to any working age participant (including students reaching working age) with an employment goal. This may include supports to:
- Explore what work would mean for you (discovery)
- Build essential foundation skills for work
- Managing complex barriers to obtaining and sustaining employment;
- Specialised job creation
- Supports to transition from an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) to open employment;
- Develop a career plan
- Other capacity building supports that are likely to lead to successful engagement in a Disability Employment Service (DES).
Who is eligible?
NDIS participants who are funded for Core Supports or Capacity Building
What is Employment Supports?

NDIS Participants who are funded for Building Capacity ~ Finding and Keeping a Job.
How do we deliver these services?
- 1 on 1 Coaching to build confidence and identify strengths
- Create and tailor resumes and cover letters
- Job creation, we will market you to potential employers
- Transport ~ To and from interviews and/or employment
- Attend job interviews with you
- Provide support to negotiate a fair wage
- Link employers with available wage subsidies
- Provide on-the-job direct support
- Advocate for you and liaise with your employer when requested

Assistance to Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities
We provide support for participants to engage in community, social, recreational or economic activities. Some of these may include
- Attend personal development courses
- Join an art class
- Attend yoga or other classes
- Join a social group
- Take an outing
- Visit your local library
- See a movie or a concert
- Support with daily life
- Go to community events, and/or Join a sporting club
Our aim is to support participants to fully engage in your local community. We believe that by enabling you to engage with your local community to enjoy the same types of activities that anyone in the community can access creates feelings of inclusiveness and a sense of connection and purpose. We support you to exercise your right of choice and control by providing flexible services and facilitating access for a wide array of community activities.

Any NDIS participant who is funded under Core Supports – Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation
