Assistance to Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities
We provide support for participants to engage in community, social, recreational or economic activities. Some of these may include
- Attend personal development courses
- Join an art class
- Attend yoga or other classes
- Join a social group
- Take an outing
- Visit your local library
- See a movie or a concert
- Support with daily life
- Go to community events, and/or Join a sporting club
Our aim is to support participants to fully engage in your local community. We believe that by enabling you to engage with your local community to enjoy the same types of activities that anyone in the community can access, creates feelings of inclusiveness and a sense of connection and purpose. We support you to exercise your right of choice and control by providing flexible services and facilitating access for a wide array of community activities.
Who is eligible?
Any NDIS participant who has core support funding.
